Chinese robotics company Unitree Robotics is preparing to launch its most affordable humanoid robot, the R1, in global markets via Alibaba’s AliExpress platform. Priced at around $4,000 in China, the R1 is positioned as one of the most accessible humanoid robots to date, signaling a shift toward consumer-level robotics. The rollout will initially target regions including North America, Europe, Japan, and Singapore, as Unitree looks to expand its international footprint.
