Dynamo Software Enhances Throughput and Lowers Inference Costs

NVIDIA has unveiled its next-generation AI factory platform, Blackwell Ultra, designed to usher in a new era of AI reasoning, agentic capabilities and physical AI. Built upon the Blackwell architecture, the GB300 NVL72 rack-scale system and HGX B300 NVL16 platform deliver dramatic leaps in performance, enabling faster, more efficient training, post-training and inference for complex AI models. The platform connects 72 GPUs and 36 CPUs to handle AI workloads like problem-solving, planning, and photorealistic video generation in real time for applications such as robotics and autonomous vehicles.

To support the massive computational demands of AI reasoning, NVIDIA has enhanced its networking infrastructure with Spectrum-X Ethernet and Quantum-X800 InfiniBand platforms, offering 800 Gb/s throughput per GPU and minimizing latency. The Blackwell Ultra, as noted in nvidianews.nvidia.com, integrates BlueField-3 DPUs for improved security, elasticity, and data access. The system will be supported by leading cloud providers and hardware partners starting in the second half of 2025, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, Dell, Lenovo, and Supermicro.

NVIDIA also announced the launch of Dynamo, a new open-source inference software designed to scale up reasoning AI by orchestrating and accelerating communication across thousands of GPUs. Dynamo enhances throughput, reduces response time, and lowers serving costs by optimizing different phases of inference independently. This software empowers AI factories to efficiently run models like Llama Nemotron Reason and AI-Q Blueprint within the NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem.

The Blackwell Ultra platform positions NVIDIA at the forefront of AI infrastructure innovation, supporting over 6 million developers and 4,000+ applications. With unmatched compute density, advanced networking, and robust software integration, Blackwell Ultra is poised to become the foundation for next-generation AI reasoning across industries.
